‘Commercial Tendering Linked to Demining Accidents’
Commercial tendering of demining contracts is associated with demining accidents in Bosnia says an article in the Osservatorio Balcani, an Italian website disseminating news and analysis of political and social issues in the Balkans.
The article, by Andrea Rossini, corroborates similar findings by Political Minefields on the link between commercial demining and poorer quality demining in Afghanistan, Bosnia and Sudan.
